Fair question, Desiree. It's unfortunate that "liberal" has become such a polarizing label. In this case, it was meant to indicate that the group is sometimes seen as having an anti-corporate viewpoint, not that it is politically partisan.

I am just wondering what your thinking process is on defining the Center for Media and Democracy as having a "liberal agenda." Not criticizing, but am highly interested in finding solutions to the extreme red/blue divide and I believe we should find new ways to label organizations that do things like the CMD does -- like be a corporate p-r watchdog. I believe it could be dangerous and unproductive to label such orgs as "liberal."
